How It Works

Injection!?
This is easier than you might imagine. Liraglutide comes in a prefilled pen-injector that attaches to a tiny 25 gauge needle. You insert the needle after cleaning the skin (usually on the front of your belly) to a depth of about 5 mm. That’s really shallow and produces a tiny pinch sensation. So simple, quick and convenient!
